Dr. Pierce is Director of Basic Sciences Research at St. Boniface Hospital Research Centre in Winnipeg, and also directs the Division of Stroke and Vascular Disease. He has served on the editorial boards of Circulation Research, the American Journal of Physiology and the Journal of Molecular and Cellular Cardiology and was Assistant Editor of Molecular and Cellular Biochemistry for more than 15 years.
