Dr. Daniel Kneeshaw — Université du Québec à Montréal, Canada
Dr. Kneeshaw is director of the PhD program in environmental sciences and member of the Centre for Forest Studies at the Université du Québec à Montréal. Natural disturbance dynamics and their effects on forest structure and composition are the main focus of his work, although he is also involved in research on First Nations forestry, conservation, and alternative forest management.
Dr. Doug Maynard — Pacific Forestry Centre, Natural Resources Canada
Dr. Maynard is Team Leader of the Soils Research Group at the Pacific Forestry Centre of Natural Resources Canada. A soil scientist specializing in soil disturbance effects on forest productivity, he is the author of more than 40 peer-reviewed articles and reports.
